Customers
Everyone who paid you, what they spent, and the journey that brought them.
Customers in the site menu lists everyone who paid in the selected range, most recent first, with their lifetime revenue, number of payments and the last source that brought them. Click a customer to see their journey: every visit, event and payment in order.
Names and details
Each customer is shown by the best label Realific has:
- The name they gave at checkout, read from your payment provider (Stripe, Polar, Lemon Squeezy, Shopify, Dodo Payments, or
nameon the Payments API). - The user id you sent with identify.
- The domain of their email (for example "Customer at acme.com").
- A short id.
Realific never stores email addresses. They are hashed so payments can be matched to visitors, and only the part after the @ is kept for display.
No extra permission is needed in Stripe, Polar, Lemon Squeezy or Shopify: the name already comes with each payment. Paddle doesn't include names or emails in transactions, so Paddle customers are shown by id.
Payments imported before this was added show up without names. Run the import again (Settings → Revenue → your provider → Past payments) to fill them in; it never counts a payment twice.
"Paid before tracking reached them"
A payment from someone Realific never saw visit (for example a sale made before you installed the script) still counts as a customer and as revenue, credited to Direct. Their journey shows only their payments. To link future sales to the visit that earned them, pass the visitor id at checkout: see your provider's page under Revenue.
